Emily was born in San Diego, CA, just four days after Christmas. She grew up in East County, graduating from Grossmont High School in 2001. She attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2005. Emily is currently studying for a master’s degree in leadership at Azusa Pacific University.

Emily did an intensive, month-long screenwriting program in the summer of 2006 in Los Angeles, CA. She was back in San Diego for a year, but moved permanently to Los Angeles in June 2007.

She spent five and a half years working at a major motion picture studio in Burbank, CA, and oh the stories she could tell (and may write a book about someday).

Emily currently works in Glendora, CA in the Registrar’s Office at Azusa Pacific University College.
