According to the Hollywood Reporter, the writers’ strike is still on.
But the good news is, negotiations are scheduled to resume on November 26th.
Originally, studios were refusing to continue negotiations unless the writers went back to work, but it looks like they changed their minds on that point.
And I think it’s a really good idea that a press blackout was instituted. If the negotiations can truly be held in private, I think then there is hope for a resolution that satisfies all involved parties.
Here’s hoping that everyone comes to the table with full stomachs, happy spirits, and a true interest in resolving this issue.
