Today a new sun rises for me; everything lives, everything is animated, everything seems to speak to me of my passion, everything invites me to cherish it.

Dear Diary,

Sorry we haven’t talked in a while. Life has been pretty crazy busy since last Monday, and yet it’s been pretty normal. Things on the lot have been busy as ever, and Friday was especially nuts when we gave tours to 147 people… All at the same time! Ya, it took about 13 of us to handle them all at once. (And I’m thinking, “This is why we space out our tours to leave every twenty minutes, not all at once!!”)

Then this weekend, Bonnie’s parents and brother came to visit. It was so fun having a mom and dad around. They treated us to lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and we all hung out and swapped crazy stories. Oh! And MY little brother surprised me and came to visit on Saturday, too! So it was a fun weekend with family and roommates.

For a Monday, today was really fun. Bonnie was working on Without A Trace today, and our lunches overlapped! So we got to hang out for about twenty minutes at the Commissary today. So fun! Oh! And we saw Kristin Chenoweth, so Bonnie was especially excited about that.

And tonight? Well tonight was Chuckfest. No phone calls this week, but there were more people there tonight. Ten people were there (8 co-workers, Bonnie, and myself), and there was food everywhere! It was a lot of fun, and the episode was great. Seriously, this is a GREAT comedic cast, down to the minor characters who only have a few lines.

Some favorite lines from tonight’s episode:

“The idea behind a stakeout is to remain inconspicuous, you moron.” – Maj. John Casey “Uh, hello? That’s why I used an alias.” – Chuck

“All right, kicking butt.” – Chuck “What happened to ‘don’t get cocky’?” – Casey “My bad.  Professional faux pas.” – Chuck

Well thanks for hanging in there, Diary. I promise not to be so long in writing next time.

Love,

Me

  1. LOVED tonight’s episode. By the way, is your family in any danger from the fires in San Diego? I thought of you while watching the news tonight.
