Who I saw and talked to today: Lena Heady, Thomas Dekker, George Lopez (!!).
So today is Wednesday. Tonight, new episodes of Pushing Daisies and America’s Next Top Model. Well, and other shows too, but Pushing Daisies and America’s Next Top Model are the ones on my mind.
See here’s the thing: Pushing Daisies is the critics’ darling, and it’s the show that all of my guests have either watched or at least heard of. But I am really just not that interested. I mean, I liked the pilot fine, but I don’t really care about the characters or where they go from here. As of right now (having only seen the pilots and the stages where they film), the only reason my DVR is even still set up to tape Pushing Daisies is because I want to know how they’re going to try and take this premise and make it a weekly, hour-long show.
So instead of watching Pushing Daisies live, I’m watching America’s Next Top Model. Yes, I know, I know. It’s not the best show ever, nor is it exactly real reality tv.
But hey, at least it’s still a Warner Brothers production.
