Today a new sun rises for me; everything lives, everything is animated, everything seems to speak to me of my passion, everything invites me to cherish it.

Today I had orientation. B-O-R-I-N-G, or “bore-ientation” for you Office fans. But at least I’ve figured out how and when I accrue vacation/sick pay and benefits. And I got a free WB mug (it’s very nice) and a decent messenger bag with the WB shield on it. I also got a pin and a pen. And I got to go home at 3pm, but still got paid for a full 8 hours. And they fed us breakfast.

But tonight… Did you watch Chuck tonight? Did you catch the awesome and very direct reference to Lost? If you didn’t, watch the episode online or look for a rerun on Saturday night. And best line of the evening? “I never joke about quiche.” Thanks, Adam Baldwin!

I bet Zachary Levi had something to do with the mention of Oceanic flight 815 though. After all, he IS a big Lost fan.

SIGH.

A man after my own heart.

  1. OKay, okay — you’ve worn me down, Emily. Elizabeth and I watched part of a “Chuck” re-run on Bravo this afternoon. And it was totally funny, even coming in half way.

We’re not giving up “Dancing with the Stars” to watch it, though — however, we may try to keep up online. We must get our ballroom fix!!!!!!

E and I watched the Bogie-Bacall classic “To Have and Have Not” tonight from Netflix. Talk about movie magic!!! Those actors, plus a screenplay written by Faulkner, based on a Hemingway novel??? Mindboggling.

(Please excuse all typos — am typing without much-needed ocular aids and cannot see the computer screen….)
