Well, I’m done with my first week of training. I was so exhausted last night that I think I slept for about 10 hours. It’s been a intense week, and I feel like I’ve been here for waaaay longer than a week.
I am excited about what the next two weeks of my training will bring. I think the hardest part of this job will be talking pretty much non-stop for two hours and driving at the same time. I know, I know, me talking for two hours shouldn’t be a problem.
My problem will probably be having too much to say.
Anyway, here are more pictures from the lot. Enjoy!
This is a practical set, meaning you can actually dress the inside and film inside the building. This was the set for Luke’s Diner in the television show Gilmore Girls.
This is Lorelai and Rory’s house also from the television show Gilmore Girls. Sorry for all the Gilmore Girl pictures, but I’m quite a fan. The cool thing about this house is that it is, in addition to being a practical set, it is also two-sided. The other side of this house is painted a different color and even has a different architectural design. This particular house was used as Lorelai’s house (as seen in the picture) and is her best friend Sookie’s house on the other side.
This small plot of grass is used for many things in both television and movies. Probably one of the most famous examples is when this was used in the television show Friends for the episode when Phoebe and Rachel go running in Central Park, New York.
You are seeing SUCH cool stuff! I love the Gilmore pictures and info – keep it coming!!!
Oh, and that is SOOOO cool that Lorelai and Sookie’s house are one in the same!!!! :-O
