Ryan Gosling is SOOOO much better than the sappy crap that was The Notebook.
Seriously, watch this movie and you’ll understand what I mean.
But be prepared to be shaken a bit. This movie takes Gosling’s character into a depth that’s difficult to watch him try and swim out of.
Basically, it’s about a young man named Daniel who was raised as an orthodox Jew, is now involved in a facist, Nazi movement, but is quickly caught between who he thinks he is and who he knows he is.
Watch it. Gosling is mesmorizing.
