Well, today my friend Dara and I took my dog for a 5-mile trek around a local lake here in San Diego. It was his first time there and my first time there in years. It was so much fun!
We saw swans, geese, ducks, sqirrels, a rabbit, a couple cute guys, and two shirtless guys who should’ve had their shirts on.
It was so nice to spend a morning outside, breathing fresh air and soaking up warm rays… Oh yeah, and getting sunburned, too.
Yup, I got sunburned. Not on my face, luckily, because I remembered to wear my Padres visor and put sunscreen on. But my shoulders, neck, and chest are quite pink.
Sigh. Oh well. It was still worth it. And hey, with no sign of winter in sight, why not start tanning for summer?
Way to go, Padres visor!
And here’s to guys who don’t wear shirts – they give us a thrill or a laugh.
