I hope you all had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christ’s humanity (i.e. his birthday). I had a good time, even while sick. Yesterday my family and I went to the snow, did a gift exchange, played games, ate lots of food, and napped.
Some highlights from the gifts I got yesterday:
- A gnome – because everyone needs a gnome (I actually got two).
- Cooking supplies – 2 cooking stones, 2 cookie sheets and a cooling rack.
- A guitar stand – so my inner rock god doesn’t have to mess with a case.
- A Boondock Saints sweatshirt – my street cred just got boosted.
So now I have just three days (include this miserable day at work) to get better and rested for my 24th birthday (on Dec. 29) and New Year’s Eve. Yay!
