Today a new sun rises for me; everything lives, everything is animated, everything seems to speak to me of my passion, everything invites me to cherish it.

Yeah, so this is what iTunes came up with (i.e. I let iTunes select songs at random from my entire library). What do you think?

Opening Credits:
Jim Carrey – Just For Laughs Comedy Festival (go figure — he would be my opening act)

Waking Up:
St. Louis Blues March – John Williams and The Boston Pops (I always need something rousing to get me going!)

Falling In Love:
Baywatch Theme Song (Ha!)

Fight Scene:
Jump (For My Love) – The Pointer Sisters (this song makes me think that any fight scene I’m in would have more laughter than butt-kicking)

Breaking Up:
Fair – Remy Zero

Mental Breakdown:
The Brothers Come To Egypt/Grovel, Grovel – Joseph And The Technicolor Dreamcoat (interesting choice, but I can think of many, many other songs that would be better suited for my mental breakdown)

Driving:
Little Black Baby – Alessandra Celletti (this is a Scott Joplin rag, and while it’s a good song, it’s more of a lullaby and so probably not the best driving song)

Flashbacks:
Ghostbusters Theme Song (truly a great blast from the past)

Happy Dance:
Sleigh Ride – Mel Torme (great song, great singer, great version – what’s more to say?)

Regretting:
Paperweight – Josh Radin & Schuyler Fisk (from the The Last Kiss soundtrack; a great song and the harmonies are exquisite)

Wild elephant sex:
Girl Can Rock – Hilary Duff (wow, um, okay. Rockin’ song, but for wild elephant sex?)

Final Battle:
Avondale – James Galway & The Chieftains (if I had to fight a life-claiming battle, I’d want to fight in Ireland)

Death Scene:
Winter Light – Tim Finn (this one’s from the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack; was so truly horrified and sad at the way C. S. Lewis ended the series – and the lives of his character)

End Credits:

Good Lovin’ – The Rascals (yeah baby, life’s all about the love)
